1. Commencement and Termination
Effective Date
This Agreement becomes effective once you are accepted into the HiTeck Education Affiliate Programme and remains in force until terminated by either party.
Affiliate Termination
You may terminate this Agreement at any time with immediate effect. Upon termination, you must cease all promotional activity, remove affiliate links, and stop using HiTeck Education’s name or materials. No commissions will be paid for referrals made after the termination date.
HiTeck Education Termination
HiTeck Education reserves the right to terminate or suspend your participation at any time, with reasonable notice. In the case of fraud or suspected criminal activity, termination may be immediate and without notice.
Post-Termination Rights
Upon termination, you forfeit all rights to use HiTeck Education or any associated merchant branding, intellectual property, or promotional materials.
2. Payment
Payment Models
Standard Payment Model (Default)
- First Payout: 6 weeks after the end of the month in which a student enrolls via your referral link.
- Second Payout: 6 weeks after the student completes their second term.
Payment on Request
- Available to UK and International-based affiliates, after two successful payouts via Bank Transfer.
- Payment requests are processed within 5 working days.
General Payment Terms
- Minimum Payment Thresholds:
- UK Affiliates: £20
- Non-UK Affiliates: £20
- Verified Sales Only: Commissions are paid only on verified enrollments or qualifying actions.
- University Payment Responsibility: Some Universities operate on an “invoice after action” model. HiTeck Education is not liable for non-payment from such a University.
- Disputes & Errors: Any payment disputes or errors must be reported in writing within 4 weeks of the transaction date.
- Invoices: All affiliates must submit a valid invoice, including full trading name and VAT number (if applicable), before receiving payment.
- Taxes: Affiliates are responsible for their tax obligations, including income tax and National Insurance where applicable.
3. Earn as You Grow – Commission & Bonuses
Standard Commission
- Earn 5% of the course fee for every student who enrolls through your referral link.
- Example:
- Example Course Fee: £9,000 of the first year fee, this could be more or less depending on the course and University
- Your Commission: £450
Performance Bonuses
- There’s no upper limit – the more referrals you make, the more you earn.
- All commissions are paid only on verified enrollments.
4. Tracking & Payouts
- 60-Day Cookie Window: Credit is given for enrollments that occur within 60 days of the initial referral click.
- Monthly Payments: Payouts are made monthly via Bank Transfer.
- All affiliate activity is monitored to ensure compliance. Fraudulent or misleading activity will result in immediate removal from the programmer and cancellation of unpaid commissions.
5. Sub-Licenses
Affiliates are granted a limited, non-exclusive, revocable license to promote HiTeck Education and approved Advertiser programs using only authorized marketing materials. HiTeck Education may use your submitted content for promotional purposes under similar licensing terms.
6. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless HiTeck Education, its partners, and Advertisers from any claims, damages, or liabilities resulting from your breach of this Agreement, website content, or misuse of the Affiliate Programmer.
7. Liability
System Interruptions
HiTeck Education is not liable for system failures, data loss, downtime, or viruses. No compensation will be issued for service interruptions.
Limitation of Liability
HiTeck Education’s total liability to any affiliate is limited to a maximum of £0.
8. Legal Content and Approval
You are solely responsible for the legality and accuracy of your website content and promotional practices. Affiliate links must not be placed on unregistered websites. All activities must comply with any specific conditions set by individual Merchants.
9. Artificial Traffic
Creating artificial traffic or using misleading tactics to earn commissions is strictly prohibited. This includes altering tracking codes, using unauthorized software, or spamming. Offenders will be immediately removed and may face legal action.
10. Copyright & Intellectual Property
All intellectual property, including logos, marketing assets, and software, remains the property of HiTeck Education or its license. Affiliates receive no ownership rights.
11. Use of Affiliate Information
By participating, you consent to the following:
- Publication of your name, website, and performance metrics.
- Receiving occasional marketing and programmer-related communications.
- Your data being used to enhance and promote the Affiliate Programme
12. Legal Age
To participate, you must be 18 years or older. If you are under 18, a parent or guardian must register and manage the account on your behalf.
13. Governing Law
This Agreement is governed by the laws of the United Kingdom.
Any disputes shall fall under the non-exclusive jurisdiction of British courts.
All parties agree to attempt mediation before pursuing legal remedies.
